We’re excited to welcome you to our cattery’s website. As fellow breeders and enthusiasts know, not all kittens are valued the same, and pricing often reflects more than just pedigree. Coat color, eye color, physical structure, and intended purpose—whether as a companion pet, a breeding prospect, or a show cat—are all important considerations.
For example, one of the rare and highly sought-after colors we work with is the phoenix coat. This unique coloration is a genetic expression of red combined with a dilution gene, producing a striking dark red coat with a smoky blue undercoat. The result is a dramatic and memorable look that is not only eye-catching in the show ring but also highly desirable in breeding programs.
Because traits like the phoenix coat, strong profiles, large ears with lynx tips, and well-balanced body proportions are less common and require selective breeding, kittens with these features are often priced higher than pet-quality kittens.
Pet-quality kittens are no less healthy or affectionate, but they may have small cosmetic differences that make them better suited as companions rather than show or breeding cats. Examples include a slightly shorter tail, or a mismark in coat pattern. These traits don’t affect their health or personality—they simply mean the kitten won’t be competitive in the show ring or desirable in a breeding program.
Our commitment is to match each kitten with the right setting—whether it’s a family home, a breeding program, or the show ring—so they can thrive and shine.
